Fanny Díaz is a contemporary artist born on July 28th, 1965.

 

Fanny grew up in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. All her life she knew she wanted to be an artist, showing her artistic interest in various ways of expression, like dance, drawing, and painting.
 

Most of her family members share a passion for art and encourage her to continue pursuing her dream.
 

When Fanny finished high school, she was accepted to Jose Maria Vargas University where she obtained a master's degree in Architecture in the year of 1994.


Fanny worked as an Architect in Caracas as well as in interior design, art direction for TV commercials, and as a graphic designer.
 

She immigrated to the USA after receiving a job offer as a graphic designer for a post-production company in Miami, Florida. A few years later, she worked as an art director for a multinational company in Miami, designing characters and packaging for several products.
 

During her free time, she practiced and independently studied artistic techniques and disciplines in a continued search for ways to express herself through art.
